| There are many different ways of looking at the area depending on what you enjoy doing. Food is naturally a major activity and along with the many excellent restaurants nearby it is possible to find a local market almost every day of the week providing fresh seasonal produce. The area is steeped in history and within a short drive of the house there are many beautiful medieval villages, churches and castles. Toulouse is one hour away and Bordeaux an hour and a half. Slightly further afield the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts along with the Pyrenees can be easily visited for a day. |
